Priit started his music studies at the age of 5, his first instrument was the piano. He started playing the guitar at the age of 8 under the guidance of his father. The second teacher was guitarist and pedagogue Patricio Zeoli, who has been a visiting teacher at Eller School since 2011. Priit has repeatedly won the Best Young Instrumentalist guitar competition of the Union of Estonian Music Schools. He has also been a laureate of several international guitar competitions, the most prestigious of which is the Hannabach Preis competition in Germany, where he won 3rd place in the final.
Priit started his concert activities early: he gave his first full-length solo concert when he was 12 years old. To date, more than half a hundred concerts have been given, both at Estonian and foreign guitar festivals. He has performed as a soloist in front of young orchestras, as well as in various chamber ensembles and has played historical finger instruments (theorb, baroque guitar) in early music groups.
