In his solo work, Argol focused on the guitar for a long time. Some time later, drum machines and synthesizers were added to it. Also, Argo has again become more interested in writing music for larger ensembles. Currently, he is most actively involved in the aforementioned and creating music for various productions.
Some of the musicians and bands that Argo currently cites as inspiration are Hiatus Kaiyote, Tigran Hamasyan, Thom Yorke, Louis Cole, Aiming For Enrike, Fredrik Thordendal and the New York-based band Car Bomb.  Andres Lõo, Karl Petti, Liis Ring, Taavi Tulev, Taavi Laatsit, Jaan Jaago, Juni Tenison, Alan Olonen, Sander Saarmets, Rasmus Neljand and Nathan Tulve are definitely worth mentioning among the musicians of the younger generation of Estonia.
